Within Academy Accounting Ltd, client work is generally
handled by at least one of our three main members of staff:
Andrew Singleton
Andrew is a graduate of Strathclyde University in Glasgow and
qualified as an accountant in 1984, before receiving his fellowship
in 1989. Andrew is ex-Inland Revenue, having worked there for four
years, so knows much about their workings and logic; a very useful
tool indeed. Andrew was indeed the person who formed Academy Accounting
Ltd, and also its predecessor company way back in 1986. In this
time, he has learned much about the tax affairs of both individuals
and small businesses.
Anne Leslie
Anne graduated with an HND in Accounting and then moved to Glasgow
and joined the company. Having worked in this industry for over
10 years, Anne has gained a very large amount of hands-on experience
whilst being employed by Academy Accounting Ltd. She has also gained
qualifications and acceptance to both the Association of Accounting
Technicians (in 1997) and the Association of Taxation Technicians
(in 1999). They say there is no better experience than working with
cases, and Anne has this in abundance.
Rizwana Ali
Rizwana is the newest recruit to the client accounts team, having
joined the company in September 2006. She graduated from Glasgow
Caledonian University with a degree in Accountancy before joining
us, having previously worked for Glasgow City Council. In her short
time with Academy Accounting Ltd, Rizwana has already learned much
from both those around her and from working on client's files.
Financial Services
A partner company of Academy Accounting Ltd is Money
Aspects Ltd, who specialise in financial advice, planning and
inheritance tax planning. No matter what area of financial services
a person needs assistance and guidance with, Money Aspects Ltd can
cater for them. Whether it be financial advisers, or pensions or
mortgage specialists, Money Aspects Ltd have the staff, expertise
and experience to provide sound, independent and free financial
advice.
