Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) are very similar to ordinary partnerships, with the primary difference being the shift in responsibility away from the individuals within the partnership. Where with basic partnerships, individuals are responsible for debts that are built up, with LLPs, the partnership itself is held responsible for its debts.
